Foison Resources (SL) Limited has successfully concluded its 2026 surface rent payment exercise in Sogbini Chiefdom, Bonthe District, and Kongbora Chiefdom, Moyamba District, reaffirming the Company's commitment to fulfilling its statutory obligations, promoting transparency, and strengthening its partnership with host communities.

The surface rent payment exercise in Sogbini Chiefdom was conducted on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, at the Paramount Chief's Compound in Tihun. Prior to the exercise, the Paramount Chief was formally notified of the scheduled payments. Although he was unable to attend due to official engagements outside the Chiefdom, he delegated representatives to witness the exercise alongside the landowners, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.

The exercise continued in Kongbora Chiefdom, Moyamba District, on Friday, 10 July 2026, at the Court Barray in Bauya. The event was witnessed by key stakeholders, including the District Officer (DO), the Local Unit Commander (LUC), a representative from the Office of National Security (ONS), the Paramount Chief, Section Chiefs, Town Chiefs, other Chiefdom authorities, and the affected landowners.

Throughout both exercises, beneficiaries received their respective surface rent payments in a peaceful, transparent, and orderly environment. The successful completion of the exercise reflects Foison Resources (SL) Limited's unwavering commitment to responsible mining, regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with its host communities.
